Company Description – North America Power Partners (NAPP) is a leading provider of Demand Response resources across the United States. We enable our customers to participate in a range of programs, including peak capacity, spinning reserves, and self scheduled energy.

Account Manager – Mt Laurel, NJ

Purpose of the job – The successful candidate will ensure customer satisfaction and retention by providing outstanding service and support to an assigned customer base.   Support will also be provided to other departments as necessary.

 Position responsibilities:

  • Good working relationships with external and internal customers are established.
  • Contract requirements are fulfilled and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met. 
  • Resolve customer inquiries directly with customer with minimal intervention from management and other departments.  Escalate as appropriate.
  • Engage customer in detailed discussions to fully understand their technical potential and explain what measures they should take to optimize their program participation results. 
  • Achieve customer retention goals through proactive actions and prompt resolution of issues.
  • Maintain accurate, complete customer records, including the documentation of important interactions with customers in CRM.
  • Knowledge of NAPP programs and ability to explain the value we provide to the customer.     Up-sell opportunities are identified and communicated to Sales.
  • Provide timely, accurate support to internal customers.
  • May require limited travel for customer and industry meetings.

 Requirements:

  • Two or more years of customer service experience with direct customer contact in a business to business industry.  Energy market knowledge and understanding of mid-to-large commercial and industrial equipment systems is a plus.
  • High degree of professionalism.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong computer skills – Proficient with Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Energy Dispatcher – Mt Laurel, NJ

NAPP’s Energy Dispatchers determine demand resource requirements and control resources to meet obligations. Energy Dispatchers focus on optimizing economics to ensure NAPP achieves the maximum value of our Demand Response resources. Requires at least an associate’s degree and 2-4 years experience in a related field or in a related area. Familiar with dispatching protocols and operations in a control room environment. Shift work required with a flexible schedule to support NAPP’s 24X7 operations.

Energy Dispatch Supervisor – Mt. Laurel, NJ

Supervises the operations and activities of NAPP’s 24X7 operation of the energy dispatch control room. The Energy Dispatch Supervisor oversees the work of our Energy Dispatchers and ensures compliance with company policies, practices and procedures. Requires a bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
